Wellington Group
Accommodation Made Easier

Organising accommodation for a group is one more thing on a long list. We've set things up so you can get it moving without needing every detail figured out.

How We've Made This Easier

We've hosted a lot of groups. Here's what we've learned matters most.

Removed the guesswork

Tell us what you’ve got so far. We’ll work with what you know and follow up on the rest as it comes together. No need to wait until everything’s locked in.

Chosen a location that works

On The Terrace with direct access to Lambton Quay. Walking distance to TSB Arena, Hnry Stadium, and the city’s main venues. Less time on logistics, more time for what your group came here for.

More than hotel rooms

Studios, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments. Living areas, room to spread out, and configurations that work for groups of different sizes. Space your group can actually use, not just sleep in.

Designed for longer stays

Kitchens and laundry on-site, so your group can cook a real meal, do a load of washing, and settle in properly. Useful for tournaments, work trips, and anything where eating out every night isn’t the plan.

Find the Right Fit

Different groups have different priorities. Here's how the setup works for each.

Project teams, offsites & business travel

  • Apartments and studios to suit different team sizes and travel policies.
  • Kitchens and laundry on-site, so teams on longer stays can settle in without living out of a suitcase.
  • Partner cafe breakfast available as an add-on, or let your team grab it individually.

Common Questions

We offer a range of studios through to three-bedroom apartments, comfortably accommodating groups of between 10 and 50 people. For larger groups, our team can work with you to find the right configuration. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Each group booking is unique. Pricing is tailored to your specific dates, room requirements, and length of stay, ensuring you receive a customised proposal rather than a one-size-fits-all rate.

Start with a few quick questions – your group type, your details, and anything else you know so far. The form is designed to work even if your plans aren’t fully locked in. Once submitted, your details go straight to our group bookings team, who’ll prepare a tailored proposal for your group.

Our group bookings team reviews what you’ve told us and prepares a proposal that covers pricing, room options, and inclusions tailored to your group. Most proposals are ready within one to two business days. If your request is more complex, we’ll let you know upfront and keep you updated on timing.

We understand that group plans can evolve. Our standard group cancellation window is three weeks before arrival, giving you room to adjust as things take shape. A deposit is required to secure your booking, and all terms and conditions are outlined clearly in your proposal, so you’ll know exactly where you stand before you confirm.

  • Accessible rooms are available – let our team know your requirements and we’ll make sure everything is set up.
  • Breakfast package can be arranged through our partner cafe, with most dietary needs accommodated given advance notice.
  • Onsite parking is limited, but there are several alternative options nearby and our team can help you plan around it.
